Federal College of Forestry, Jos Announces Admission Into ND, HND and Vocational Programmes for 2025/2026 Session

The Federal College of Forestry, Jos, Plateau State, has opened applications for admission into its Vocational, National Diploma (ND), and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the management, suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for full-time studies across various disciplines tailored to agriculture, forestry, technology, and environmental studies.
Available Programmes
Higher National Diploma (HND):
- Forestry Environmental Technology
- Horticulture & Landscape Technology
- Pest Management Technology
- Agricultural Extension & Management
- Crop Production Technology
National Diploma (ND):
- Pre-ND (Science and Technology – 1 year)
- Forestry Technology
- Agricultural Technology
- Horticulture Technology
- Computer Science
- Science Laboratory Technology
Vocational Certificate Courses (4–6 months):
- Forest Guards
- Nursery Establishment and Management
- Silvicultural Assistants
- Fishery Production Technology
- Horticulture Technology
- Poultry Production Technology
- Beekeeping & Honey Production Technology
Entry Requirements
For HND Programmes:
- Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant field from an NBTE-accredited institution with at least five (5) credit passes at SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB.
- A minimum of one year post-ND industrial training is required.
- Candidates with a Pass at ND must have two (2) years of cognate experience.
For ND Programmes:
- Applicants must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, and two other relevant subjects.
- Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Admission into ND programmes is strictly through JAMB.
For Pre-ND Programmes:
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant science subjects.
Duration of Programmes
- ND and HND: Two (2) years each.
- Vocational Courses: 4–6 months.
Method of Application
- Interested applicants for HND and Pre-ND programmes should visit the college personally to obtain forms at a cost of ₦2,000 (HND/Pre-ND) and ₦1,500 (ND/Certificate Courses).
- ND applicants are required to register through JAMB and select the Federal College of Forestry, Jos as their choice institution.
