YABATECH Issues Urgent Admission Update: O’Level Upload Deadline, Course Change Window, and Screening Requirements Announced

Yaba College of Technology has released an important notice to all applicants for the 2025/2026 full-time admission cycle, outlining key steps required for successful processing of their applications. The announcement, issued by the Office of the Registrar, directs all prospective students to comply with several mandatory procedures before the commencement of admission activities.
According to the institution, all applicants must ensure that their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal at any JAMB CBT-accredited centre. Candidates are instructed to refresh their CAPS page to confirm that the results are visible no later than 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Admission processing will begin on Monday, November 24, 2025.
The management also announced that the window for change of course will open from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Candidates who wish to switch to another programme must apply through both the YABATECH portal and the JAMB portal before the deadline. Applicants are reminded to verify that they meet the required O’Level and UTME subject combinations for their new course before applying, as no extension will be granted for the change-of-course period.
Additionally, candidates offered admission are required to immediately accept their offer on the JAMB CAPS portal and print their admission letters for both institutional and personal use. The college emphasised the importance of name consistency, warning applicants to ensure that their names are arranged uniformly across all documents ahead of online and physical screening.
The management stressed that failure to comply with any of the outlined instructions will result in forfeiture of admission.
