Plateau State Polytechnic Begins 2026/2027 Post UTME Screening, Accepts Candidates with 100 UTME Score

Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post UTME online screening exercise, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various National Diploma (ND) programmes.

According to the admission notice issued by the institution, candidates who selected Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 100 are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

The institution also encouraged candidates who did not initially choose Plateau State Polytechnic during JAMB registration but are interested in studying at the institution to visit any JAMB-approved CBT centre or JAMB office to process a change of institution before applying.

In a major development, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved several new National Diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. The newly approved courses include ND Crime Management, ND Procurement and Supply Chain Management, ND Surveying and Geoinformatics, ND Architectural Technology, ND Renewable Energy Technology, ND Insurance, ND Law, and ND Agricultural Technology.

To qualify for admission, applicants must possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB obtained in not more than two sittings. Candidates are also required to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal before admission can be offered.

The Polytechnic advised all prospective students to begin their registration by capturing their bio-data through the institution’s admission portal and carefully follow all application instructions provided online.

Candidates are encouraged to complete their applications early and ensure all submitted information is accurate to avoid delays or disqualification during the admission process.
