Osun State Polytechnic Governing Council Presents 18-Seater Bus to Students’ Union Government
The Governing Council of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has presented a brand-new 18-seater bus to the institution’s Students’ Union Government (SUG) as part of efforts to enhance student welfare and improve transportation within the campus community.
The official presentation was made by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Hon. Diran Ayambeku, who handed over the vehicle to the President of the Students’ Union Government during a brief ceremony held at the institution.
The event was attended by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi; the Registrar, Omo’ba Abiodun Oyedele Oloyede; the Acting Bursar, Mr. Elijah Olabamiji Ojebowale; the Head of Works and Services, Engr. Waheed Adebayo Bamigbade; the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Tope Abiola; the Director of Media, Public Relations and Protocol, Mr. Bayo Fadeji; and the Deputy Registrar, Students’ Affairs, Mr. Paul Olawoyin.
The donation of the new bus reflects the institution’s commitment to promoting the welfare of students by providing improved transportation support for Students’ Union activities and other official engagements.
The initiative is expected to strengthen student services while demonstrating the Governing Council’s continued dedication to creating a more conducive learning environment at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
