Jigawa State Polytechnic Opens 2025/2026 Admission Portal, Accepts Candidates with 100 UTME Score

Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its various National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), National Certificate in Education (NCE), and Pre-ND programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The institution disclosed that applications are now open for qualified candidates seeking admission into programmes across its Colleges of Business and Management Studies, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Science and Technology, Health Sciences, Social and General Studies, as well as Technical and Vocational Education.
Prospective National Diploma applicants must have participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 100 to be eligible for admission. Candidates are also required to choose Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse as their first-choice institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The Polytechnic further stated that all ND applicants must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal before they can be considered for admission. Failure to do so may affect the admission process.
Admission is available into several programmes including Accountancy, Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Technology and Management, Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding and Fabrication, Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Environmental Health Technology, Public Health, Epidemiology and Disease Control, Health Information Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, Social Development, Crime Management, Technical Education, Vocational Education, and many other courses.
Interested applicants are required to visit the Polytechnic’s admission portal to generate a payment invoice before proceeding with the payment of the non-refundable application fee. The application fee is ₦5,500 for HND, ND, NCE, and Pre-ND programmes.
The management also warned that any request for changes to an applicant’s submitted data will attract an administrative charge of ₦1,000 per application.
Qualified candidates are advised to complete their applications early, upload all required documents correctly, and ensure that the information provided during registration is accurate to improve their chances of securing admission.
