OGITECH Elects New Students Union Executives
The Students of the Ogun state Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, have elected new executives that will pilot the affairs of the students union for the 2022/2023 academic session.
According to OGITECH Electoral committee, Comrade Micheal Soaga has been elected as the president and winner of SUG election with 277 votes while Comrade Makinde Memunat was announced as Vice President elect with 291 Votes.
Other elected executives are: Bankole Sodiq, Aramide Boluwatife, Afolabi Stephen, Amosu Sadhowe, Akinde Taiwo amongst others.
The election results was given as follows:
Central Executive Council
1. Michael Soaga – President – 277 votes
2. Makinde Memunat – Vice President – 291 Votes
3. Bankole Sodiq – Assistant General Secretary – 323 Votes
4. Aramide Boluwatife – Welfare Director 1 – 367 votes
5. Afolabi Stephen – Treasurer – 348 votes
6. Amosu Sadhowe – PRE1 – 393 votes
7. Akinde Taiwo – PRE2 – 379 Votes
8. Adebayo Elizabeth – Fin. Secretary – 412 votes
9. Afolabi Toheeb – Social Director 2 – 380 votes
10. Adesina Adam – Sport Director – 536 votes
11. Hassan Hameed – Gen Secretary – Unopposed
12. Solomon Segun – Welfare Director 2 – Unopposed

1.Atere Anuoluwapo (Surface T) Speaker – 13 votes
2.Fagbemi Kehinde (Kenny D) – Chief clerk
