The Federal polytechnic of Oil and Gas (FPOG), Bonny is located in Rivers State. The Polytechnic is committed to deliver courses that are interdisciplinary for both general and specialized programmes. The Polytechnic is committed to deliver innovative programmes with a focus on creating/cultivating the next generation of emerging technologists. The Polytechnic is committed to creating an integrated unique learning experience with strong industry support/collaboration.

The vision and mission of the school is to meet the Middle-level Manpower Development of the Oil and Gas Sector in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region in line with Industry needs, community aspirations as well as forging partnerships with world class institutions and to be recognized as the Leading institution in the Middle-level manpower Training and developments for the Oil and Gas Industry in Africa.

The polytechnic has administrative building, auditorium, hostel buildings, lecture theatres, classrooms, research block, workshop and laboratory buildings, clinic, canteen and library buildings which makes learning easier students.

All the courses offered by the polytechnic have been accredited by NBTE and approved by the Federal ministry of Education.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OF OIL AND GAS, BONNY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

• Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, NECO or its equivalent. English Language, Mathematics and any other 3 relevant subjects.

• Candidates who chose FPOG as their preferred choice of institution during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Registration

• Candidates must have a minimum JAMB and/or the institutional cut-off marks or higher for the programmes applied.

• Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.

FPOG SCHOOL FEES.

Acceptance fee at the Federal Polytechnic Bonny is #20,000. School fees for first year Is #62,000 and #55,000 for second year. Other fees being paid by ttr students are medical, Entrepreneurship, departmental and faculty dues.
