Federal Polytechnic Mubi (MUBI POLY) Approved Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic Session

The management of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Adamawa State has released the approved academic calendar for students in the Yola and Mubi campus for the 2023/2024 academic session.

SIWES will commence on Monday 7th October 2023.

Registration and lectures for the newly admitted students will commence on Monday 6th November 2023.

Registration and lectures for all returning students for the first semester 2023/2024 session – Monday 30th October 2024.

Students will proceed on Christmas and new year break from 18th December 2023 to January 6th 2024.

Matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted students – 13th March 2024.

1st and 3rd semester examination will commence on Monday 8th to Saturday 30th April 2024.

Second and fourth semester 2023/2024 academic session will commence on Monday 13th May 2024.

Commencement of 2024/2025 Admission exercises – Monday 2nd October 2024.

2nd and 4th semester examination will commence from Monday 9th to Saturday 21st September 2024.

11	18^th March 2024	Placement of examination timetable for 1^st and 3^rd semester 2023/2024 academic session
12	23^rd March 2024	End of lectures for 1^st and 3^rd semester 2023/2024 academic session
13	25^th – 30^th March 2024	Revision week
14	3^rd April 2024	SIWES orientation exercise
15	8^th – 20^th April 2024	1^st and 3^rd semester examination for 2023/2024 academic session

16	22^nd April – 4^th May 2024	1ast and 3^rd semester break, camping, field trip and excursion for ND and HND students
17	13^th May 2024	Commencement of registration and lectures for 2^nd and 4^th semester 2023/2024 academic session
18	28^{th –}31^st May 2024	Scheduled academic board meeting
19	July 2024	RECTOR’S CUP
20	19^th August 2024	Placement of examination timetable for 2^nd and 4^th semester 2023/2024 academic session

21	19^th August 2024	End of lectures for 2^nd and 4^th semester 2023/2024 academic session
22	24^th August 2024	Revision week
23	26^th – 31^st August 2024	End of project defense except school of Agric
24	4^th – 6^th September 2024	Students week
25	9^th – 21^st September 2024	2^nd and 4^th semester 2023/2024 academic session

26	2^nd October 2024	Commencement of admission exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session
27	7^th October 2024	Commencement of SIWES
28	22^nd – 25^th October 2024	Scheduled academic board meeting for the consideration of 2^nd and 4^th semester examination results
29	28^th October 2024	Commencement of registration and lectures for 1^st and 3^rd semester 2024/2025 academic session
30	18^th December 2024 – 6^th January 2025	Christmas and new year break
