Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti (FPA) Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic Session

The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti has announced the resumption of academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session following the release of the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Academic activities for the first semester 2023/2024 session will commence on Monday 8th January 2024.

Registration for all students excluding those on SIWES will commence on Monday 8th January 2024.

The school management directed that lectures will commence on Monday 12th February 2024 for all categories of students.

203/2024 matriculation ceremony will hold on Friday 15th March 2024.

First semester examination will hold from Monday 8th April 2024

All students are to resume for the second semester 2023/2024 academic session on Monday 20th May 2024.

Below are the details of the first semester 2023/2024 academic calendar:

2	8^th January 2024	Resumption of 2023/2024 first semester academic session for NON_SIWES students
3	8^th – 12^th January 2024	Registration for NDI, HNDI, HNDII, and NDII NON SIWES students
4	15^th January 2024	Commencement of lectures for NDII Non-SIWES, NDI, HNDI and HNDII students
5	12^th February 2024	NDII SIWES students resume, commence registration and lecture

6	26^th February – 1^st March 2024	Fist continuous assessment for NON SIWES students
7	4^th – 8^th March 2024	Fist continuous assessment for SIWES students
8	11^th March 2024	Registration with penalty
9	12^th – 13^th March 2024	Orientation for new students
10	15^th March 2024	Matriculation of new students
11	18^th – 22^nd March 2024	Second continuous assessment for all students

12	29^th March 2024	Course registration ends
13	1^st – 5^th April 2024	End of lecture and revision
14	8^th – 26^th April 2024	First semester examination
15	29^th April – 10^th May 2024	Marking of scripts
16	13^th – 17^th May 2024	Audit of dcripts
17	20^th – 24^th May 2024	Processing of 1^st semester results

18	30^th May 2024	Considering 1^st semester results
19	20^th May 2024	Resumption of second semester 2023/2024 academic session
