Federal Polytechnic Damaturu (FEDPODAM) 2022/2023 Resumption and Academic Calendar

The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu (FEDPODAM) Yobe State, has released the adjusted academic calendar for 2021/2022 session and the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities for 2022/2023 academic year.

1st and 3rd semester examination for 2021/2022 session will begin on Tuesday 4th to Monday 17th October 2022.

Academic activities for the Second semester 2021/2022 session will begin on Monday 21st November 2022.

Second and fourth semester examinations will be held between Monday 27th March to Saturday 8th April 2023.

The 2022/2023 academic year has been approved by the academic board to commence on Monday 22nd May 2023.

Below are details of the approved academic calendar for the Federal polytechnic Damaturu:

First and third semester 2021/2022 session

1	Monday 30^th May 2022	The polytechnic re-open for 2021/2022 academic session
2	Monday 30^th May to Saturday 10^th September	Lectures begin for ND and HND 1^st and 3^rd semester 2021/2022 academic session Matriculation exercise for HND and NDI students Orientation exercise for new students
3	Tuesday 4^th – Monday 17^th October	1^st and 3^rd semester examination for all the programmes 2021/2022
4	Tuesday 18^th October 2022 – Tuesday 15^th November 2022	marking of examination booklets for ND and HND Departmental board meeting *school board meeting
5	Wednesday 16^th November, 2022	Academic board meets to consider 1^st and 3^rd semester 2021/2022 examination results

SECOND AND FOURTH SEMESTER 2021/2022 SESSION

6	Monday 21^st November – Saturday 19^th February 2023	2^nd and 4^th semester lecture begins for all programmes sport activities *moderation of examination question papers for 2^nd and 4^th semester 2021/2022 session
7	Monday 20^th February – Monday 20^th March 2023	2023 national election break
8	Monday 27^th 27^th March – Saturday 8^th April, 2023	2^nd and 4^th semester 2021/2022 examinqation
9	Monday 10^th april – Monday 15^th May 2023	Marking of examination booklets (ND and HND) moderation of marked examination booklets departmental board meting 8school board meeting *academic board meeting
10	Monday 22^nd may, 2023	The polytechnic reopens for 2022/2023 session
