DSPG: ASUP Commences Warning Strike

The Academic staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi Uku Chapter (DSPG) has commenced a one week warning strike over some unresolved issues between the union and the school management.
The polytechnic Directorate of students affairs confirmed this to NAIJA POLYTV adding that the warning strike will commence from Monday 3rd to 7th July 2023.
“This is to inform all students of Delta state polytechnic Ogwashi-uku that the Academic staff union of polytechnic (ASUP) Delta state chapter is enbacking on one week strike . Which will kickoff from 3rd to 7th July 2023).”
“Management is addressing the issues that led to the warning strike and as soon as it is resolved, academic activities would resume and this can be within the week.”
“Students are advised to shun unnecessary travels and put their ears on the ground for resumption, which will be soon. We appeal to all students to remain calm while we regret all inconveniences this sudden break in academic activities will cause the students.”
