Campus Maulud: FPTB SUG President Attends, calls for Prayers, Unity and Peace among Citizens

The President, Students Union Government, Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi Comrade Muhammad Muktar Muhammad has called Muslim ummah to give their part in the nation-building, especially in the area of unity, peace and security for the better of all regardless of differences.
The President made the call when he attended the Annual Maulud organised by the Tijjaniya Muslims Students Association Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi Chapter in honour of the celebration of the birthday of the prophet peace be upon him at the 510 Hall of the institution.
Comr. Muktar used the medium to appreciate the Association for making this year’s maulud sound and educative saying the role played by the Tijjaniya on the campus is appreciable and noticed.
Muhammad charged the Muslim Ummah to reflect the habit and teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and to copy his lifetime as the best creator who taught peace and called for unity among diverse faiths.
“as we celebrate the Eid-el-Maulud, we should remember that the Holy Prophet had during his lifetime preached peace, honesty, patience, generosity, humility, sincerity, love for one another and fear of God.”
while wishing the gathering a successful event, he called on them to always put the Polytechnic in their prayers, especially on the current challenges disturbing the country.
“We should all offer special prayers for peace in our state in particular and the nation in general in the face of the current security challenges in different parts of the country.”
“I would therefore like to appeal for your continued support and cooperation to sustain and improve on existing peaceful atmosphere in our dear Polytechnic”.


In their separate remarks, Imam Junaidu Bauchi, Sheik Kabiru Al-arabi and Malam Adamu Buba enjoyed the Muslims being ambassadors of Islam and using what they learned during the occasion while appreciating the effort of the Association’s Executive for the smooth and success of the event.
Highlights of the event include paper presentation, recitation of the Holy Qur’an from some students as well as presentation of gifts among others.
