Bauchi Polytechnic Newly Appointed SUG Executives Sworn into office

The Management of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has on Thursday inaugurated the newly selected Executive Council of the Students Union Government (SUG) for 2021/2022 academic session.

The event which took place at the Rector’s conference hall had in attendance the management staff, principal officers of the Polytechnic and the outgoing SUG Excos.

In his remarks, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Arch. Sanusi Waziri Gumau, admonished the newly selected executives to discharge their duties with diligence, fairness and equity.

He pledged to support the Students Union in actualizing their goals and objectives, while maintaining that doors are always open for any form of complaint regarding Students welfare in the Polytechnic.

In their separate remarks, the Registrar of the Polytechnic, Haj. Rakiyyah Usman Maleka and the Students Affairs Officer, Barr. Muhammad Raju Abdu, jointly urged the newly selected Excos to exhibit a sense of transparency in their administration, while congratulating the outgoing Excos for their successful administration.

Also speaking, the outgoing SUG President, Comr. Rabi’u Yakubu Galadima, expressed gratitude to the management of the Polytechnic for giving them the opportunity to serve in the capacity of SUG Executives for the 2020/2021.

Galadima also extended his gratitude to the Students Affairs Division of the Polytechnic for always guiding and advising the union on the best measures to handle student-related matters within the Polytechnic environment.

The Ex-president further applauded the entire Students of the Polytechnic for maintaining peaceful coexistence within and outside the campus during his administration, without any form of disruption.

Comr. Muhammad Mukhtar Muhammad is the new SUG President who takes over from Comr. Rabi’u Yakubu Galadima, the immediate past SUG President.
