Federal Polytechnic Ohodo Announces Date for 3rd Matriculation Ceremony

The Management of Federal Polytechnic Ohodo (FEDPOD) has officially announced the schedule for its 3rd Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students of the institution.
According to the notice released by the Polytechnic, the matriculation ceremony is set to hold on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Polytechnic Field, Federal Polytechnic Ohodo Takeoff Campus, located along the Opi–9th Mile Expressway in Ohodo, Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The event is expected to commence by 11:00am prompt.
The institution directed all matriculating students to report to the Registry on Thursday morning, May 21, 2026, to sign the matriculation register and collect their academic gowns ahead of the ceremony.
Management emphasized that matriculation is a compulsory academic exercise for all fresh students, urging every newly admitted student to attend the ceremony without exception.
Staff members of the Polytechnic have also been directed to be physically present at the event, while Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and Heads of Units were instructed to ensure full participation from their respective Schools, Departments, and Units.
In addition, all staff members who are PhD holders have been requested to attend the ceremony with their academic gowns.
The Polytechnic expressed excitement in welcoming the new students into its academic community and wished them a successful and productive journey in both academic and skills training.
