NILEST Matriculates 450 Students, Emphasizes Discipline and Academic Excellence


The Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST) has officially matriculated 450 newly admitted students into its various academic programmes.
The ceremony, held at the Institute’s premises in Samaru, Zaria, marked the formal induction of the students into the academic community as they begin their educational journey.
Delivering his matriculation address, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Imam, congratulated the students for successfully completing the admission and screening processes. He urged them to remain focused, dedicated, and committed to their studies, while also stressing the importance of respecting lecturers and constituted authorities within the Institute.
The Director-General further advised the students to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations guiding academic and social conduct in the institution, noting that discipline and hard work are key to achieving success.
Dr. Imam also appreciated parents and guardians for placing their trust in NILEST for the education and development of their children. He assured them of the Institute’s commitment to providing quality education and equipping students with the skills needed to excel in their chosen fields.
The matriculation ceremony underscores NILEST’s ongoing efforts to develop competent professionals and strengthen technical education in Nigeria.
