It can come as a disappointment to receive the news from your partner that they have lost interest in you and are not interested in the relationship anymore, thereby calling for a breakup. What should one do in situations like this? What is the best thing to do if my partner wants us to break up? Here are 8 steps to try if your partner says they are not interested in you anymore.
What to do if your boyfriend or girlfriend wants to break up with you.
The first question to ask yourself is: Do you still love them and want the relationship to work? Do you still want them to stay in your life? If yes, then try the tips listed below:
1. Ask to See them In-person.
When they tell you that they have lost interest in the relationship and want to break up with you, you should ask to see them in person and have a face-to-face conversation with them. This is to be sure if your partner truly wants a breakup or if they’re trying to prank you. Some issues are better handled in person than on the phone. However, if this is a long-distance relationship, you can have this conversation on the phone or by chatting with them.

2. Ask them Why They Lost Interest and Why they Want to Break up with You.

Should I continue begging them after they tell me they are not interested in the relationship anymore?
