We Pride Ourselves In Not Only Training Students in Academic Works but Also in Character- Rector Tells Newly Admitted Students

The Rector, Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Adesodun has established the fact that the Polytechnic is not just targeted at impacting academic knowledge to the students but also impacts and train students with good and well nurtured character.
He made this known while addressing the matriculants while addressing the matriculants during the 2021/2022 matriculation ceremony.
He said further that by doing all these above would in turn elevate the norms, culture and tradition of the society and tagged them as good citizens who would be a role model and an influence to their peer.
In his speech “although we are only two years old, our students population has grown considerably with approvals giving by (NBTE) for the establishment of key courses in the institution. Our pioneer students are currently in NDII and by the grace of God, we shall be graduating our first set of Students very shortly.”
“We pride ourselves in not only training students in academic work but also in character so that upon graduation the student is fully ready to be a responsible citizen who will contribute to national development. So, we advise that you emulate the example of your mentors and teachers in self-discipline, self-care, good mode of dressing, fidelity to your studies and work. I wish you every luck as you take this noble path to high level achievements”.
