OKO POLY: NAPS KICKS Against Levy Increment, Urges Management to Pity Students
The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has kicked against school fees and levy fees increment at the Federal polytechnic oko, urged the school management to pity students by reversing the fees to status quo.
The school management recently released approved school fees and levy fees for 2021/2022 academic session with a total of over 100k, a development which the polytechnic students totally rejected and these has caused mixed reaction oonline.
Comrade Okoukeni Samuel, NAPS Public Relation officer, say it gave the school authority 7days to reverse the school fees to status quo Otherwise they will relocate their National Secretariat to the Federal polytechnic oko.
While addressing pressmen on Monday, Comrade Samuel said “We wonder if the Management of Federal Polytechnic OKO are not Nigerians and even if they’re, we wonder if they are not resident in the country because in this period of economic recession, where parents, guardians and sponsors find it extremely difficult to feed their children/wards, the management has decided to contribute their own quota by increasing the untold hardship.

“The leadership of National Assocation of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) unanimously Condemn the wanton High level of Payment for the students Of Federal Polytechnic Oko.
“We demand the stoppage of payment of the Development Levy, Consultancy Fee.”
Comrade Samuel added that, “The National Assocation of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is given an Ultimatum of 7 days for full implementation of these demand to avoid breakdown of law and order in the campus else, the National Secretariat will be relocating to the Federal Polytechnic,Oko.”
