OGITECH Rector Makes Surprise Visit, Promises Action on Student Concerns

Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, Rector of the Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, on Monady 12th February, 2024, conducted an impromptu visit to several departments,  following a meeting with the Academic Board and staff.

His tour included the School of Financial Studies (SFMS), the School of Communication and Information Technology (SCIT), the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, and the Centre for General Studies.

During his interactions with students, Dr. Abiodun addressed concerns about inadequate ventilation, inconsistent power supply, and subpar toilet facilities.

Demonstrating commitment to improving the learning environment, he issued immediate directives to respective Heads of Departments for prompt solutions.

Furthermore, Dr. Abiodun acknowledged the need for updated laboratory equipment and other learning resources.

He reassured students that these would be provided, underscoring his dedication to enhancing the overall quality of education at OGITECH. Campus Eye Media reports
