The NNPC/SEPLAT Joint Venture has officially announced the commencement of its 2026 National Undergraduate Scholarship Programme. The scholarship is open to qualified and deserving undergraduate students studying in accredited Federal and State Universities across Nigeria.
This annual initiative forms part of the joint venture’s Corporate Social Investment programme aimed at promoting educational development, supporting academic excellence, and strengthening human capacity across Nigeria.
About the NNPC/SEPLAT JV Undergraduate Scholarship
The NNPC/SEPLAT JV Scholarship Scheme is a merit-based award designed to provide financial assistance to high-performing Nigerian undergraduates.
Selected beneficiaries receive annual grants to help cover tuition fees, academic materials, and other essential educational expenses. The programme focuses on developing future professionals in key sectors such as oil and gas, engineering, healthcare, technology, and economic development.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2026 NNPC/SEPLAT JV National Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be in their second year of study or above in a Federal or State University in Nigeria
- Must have at least five O’Level credit passes in one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics
- Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent
- Must be studying one of the approved courses listed below

- Petroleum Engineering
