NAPS President Joins Presidential Aide, NANS Leaders at Zone D Inauguration

In a show of unity and commitment to student leadership, the President of the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), Comr. Festus Joy Oyeyemi, joined top student leaders and government officials at the inauguration of the new leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone D.
The event, which took place with notable figures in attendance, saw the participation of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Student Affairs, Comrade Sunday Asefon, NANS Senate President, Comrade Sen. Akinteye Babatunde, and several Special Advisers to the Governor from Zone D. Also present were NAPS Vice President Special Duties, Comrade Clever, former NAPS Vice President Comrade Walcott, and other key stakeholders.
The gathering served as a platform to strengthen alliances, promote strategic engagement, and push for policies that address the pressing challenges faced by Nigerian students, particularly those in polytechnics.
Speaking at the event, NAPS leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advocating for student welfare, educational reforms, and a more inclusive student leadership structure. The association emphasized the need for collaboration among student bodies to drive positive change in the Nigerian education sector.
NAPS congratulated the newly inaugurated NANS Zone D leadership, pledging full support in championing student interests, advancing technical education, and fostering a united student movement nationwide.
