KwaraPoly Ex Students to Pay Double for Certificates

The management of Kwara state Polytechnic, Ilorin said it gave Ex students who are yet to process their certificate till December 31st to do so or risk Paying double for it.
The school has also mandated academic transcripts for all graduating students. The concerned students will henceforth pay a compulsory fee of #5,000 only.
The school management said further that it has now adopted the “No payment for certificate, no Certificate” rule.
According to the polytechnic registrar, Mr Akande, this decision became necessary because the majority of the graduates failed to collect their certificates printed by the institution.

“The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, wishes to bring to the notice of its graduates and the general public that the majority of the graduates failed to collect their Certificates after being printed by the Institution. As a result of this, the Polytechnic archives is now overflowing with uncollected Certificates…
“In view of this, the Management has resolved as follows:
1. That former students who failed to process and collect their certificate by 31st December, 2022, shall pay twice amount that is being charged for the certificate.
2. That as from Sunday, 1st January, 2023, all former students who are yet to process and collect their certificates shall be charged twice the amount they are supposed to pay for the certificate.

3. That collection of student copy of Academic Transcript for all graduating students is now compulsory at the rate of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only.
4. That the Polytechnic will henceforth follow the rule of “NO PAYMENT FOR CERTIFICATE, NO PRINTING OF CERTIFICATE”
