Heritage Polytechnic 2025/2026 Academic Calendar

Heritage Polytechnic, Eket, Akwa Ibom State, has unveiled its detailed academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. The schedule outlines key activities from October 2025 through September 2026, guiding both new and returning students on lecture periods, examinations, breaks, and special events.

Lectures for the first semester will begin on Monday, October 6, 2025, and run until January 30, 2026. Key early-semester activities include project supervision submissions by October 20, exam question submissions between November 24 and 28, and the publication of exam timetables on December 8. Orientation for fresh students will take place on Thursday, December 11, followed by a Christmas break from December 22, 2025, to January 11, 2026.

First semester examinations are scheduled to start on Monday, February 2, 2026, concluding on February 13, with Batch B programmes beginning lectures the following week. Batch A results will be marked and released between February 16 and 27, while Batch B exams will run from March 30 to April 3, 2026.

The second semester commences on Monday, March 30, 2026, featuring lectures until July 17. Highlights of the semester include Matriculation and Convocation ceremonies on Friday, April 10, and a scheduled students’ week from April 6 to 10. Exams for Batch B begin on June 15 and end on June 26, while Batch A exams will follow from July 20 to 31, 2026.

The academic session will conclude with a long break starting August 7, while marking of exams and SIWES supervision will take place throughout August. Marking of summer semester exams is set for September 28, and the 2026/2027 academic session begins on Monday, October 5, 2026.
