Fedpoly Mubi Announces Christmas and New Year Break for all students

The management of the Federal polytechnic mubi, Adamawa state has announced 3 weeks break to mark the Christmas and new year celebration for all students of the institution.
The school management stated that Christmas and new year will break will commence from 18th December to Saturday 6th January 2024.
According to a memo obtained by POLYTV:
“All Staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi are to be informed that the “Christmas and New year Break” as provided for in the approved Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 session does not in any way include academic and non-academic staff…
“This explanation becomes necessary because many staff do refuse to come to work during the period of the break. For purpose of clarity, Monday 18 December, 2023 to Saturday 6th January, 2024 have only been approved for continuing students to proceed for Christmas break. New students may continue to register into their Programmes even during this period.”
“No staff should absent himself or herself from office during the period henceforth unless such staff is on leave. Any staff wishes to go for annual leave must follow the due process and obtain the leave pass before proceeding on the leave.”
“All staff must therefore note and comply with this directive accordingly”
