Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti (ADO POLY) Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 Session

This is to inform all students of Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti that the school management, through the Directorate of Academic Planning, has announced the resumption of academic activities for the 2024/2025 academic session. The academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session is now available.

According to the calendar, the polytechnic will resume for the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday, 6th January 2025.

All students, excluding SIWES students, are to resume on 6th January 2025.

Registration for ND I, HND I, and ND II non-SIWES students will commence on Monday, 6th January, and end on Friday, 24th January 2025.

Lectures for all students, excluding SIWES students, will commence on Monday, 27th January 2025.

ND II SIWES students are to resume for the commencement of lectures on Monday, 10th February 2025.

Registration with a penalty will begin on Monday, 24th March 2025.

The orientation program for newly admitted students will be held from 1st to 2nd April 2025.

The matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 session will be held on 4th April 2025.

The first semester 2024/2025 examination will commence on Monday, 21st April, and end on Saturday, 10th May 2025.

The second semester 2024/2025 session will begin on Monday, 2nd June 2025.

Below are the details of the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.

2	6^th January 2025	Resumption of 2024/2025 first semester academic session for non SIWES students
3	6^th – 24^th January 2025	Registration for NDI, HNDI, and NDII non SIWES students
4	27^th January 2025	Commencement of lectures for NDII Non SIWES, NDI, HNDI and HNDII students

5	10^th February 2025	NDII SSIWES students resume, commence registration and lecture
6	3^rd – 7^th March 2025	First continuous assessment for non SIWEs students
7	17^th – 21^st March 2025	1^st continues assessment for SIWES students
8	24^th March 2025	Registration with penalty
9	1^st – 2^nd April 2025	Orientation for new students
