Tragedy in Bauchi: Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Student Killed in Hostel Robbery Attack

Bauchi was thrown into mourning after a tragic armed robbery incident claimed the life of a student of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic. The attack, which occurred at a student hostel, left an ND II Mass Communication student, Mr. Samuel Mbami, dead after he was stabbed multiple times by the assailants.

Reports indicate that the robbers stormed the hostel and attacked Mr. Mbami with a knife. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he later died from excessive bleeding. The heartbreaking incident has sparked outrage within the school community, as it comes barely two weeks after a similar attack was reported.

Students have expressed fear over the growing insecurity around hostels, calling on the Bauchi State Government and security agencies to take immediate action to safeguard their lives.

Many are demanding stronger security measures within and around the Polytechnic to prevent further tragedies.
