Comrade Abayomi Fabunmi Emerges SSANIP Chairman in Ekiti State Polytechnic Isan

The Elected Officers, SSANIP EKSPOLY Branch presented to the Management by the National Leadership.

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics has unveiled a branch of the association in Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan.

The association was formally inaugurated by the chairman of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics, Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti branch Comrade Sunday Akomolafe.

During the ceremony, the newly elected officials of the new branch were inaugurated by Comrade Sunday Akomolafe.

llesanmi Mary Odunayo – Secretary, Esan Elizabeth – Vice Chairman, Isinkaye Joshua – Publicity Secretary, Awosemusi Omolara Christiana- Asst Secretary, Adebayo Oladele- Treasurer, Ogidi Oluwayemisi- Auditor Trustee, Famoroti Sunday-Financial Secretary

Addressing the new executive committee members of the newly inaugurated branch, the Chairman of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti branch, Mr Sunday Akomolafe who was accompanied by other executive members advised the new branch to operate in line with the ethics and rules of the association.

Comrade Akomolafe congratulated the newly-elected committee members of the new branch and urged them to see their election as a call to serve and not to aggrandize.

He urged them to be committed to the agitation for the welfare of their members without compromise with the promise that the Federal Polytechnic branch would give them the necessary support towards achieving the purpose of their establishment.

The chairman appreciated Governor Kayode Fayemi for the establishment of the Polytechnic which he said had created job opportunities and provided a platform for students to achieve their careers.

He also appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the good work he has been doing since assumption of office urging him to sustain the tempo.

Addressing the workers, the registrar of the institution, Gbenga Olorunsola and the Bursar, Dayo Awe assured the executive of the cooperation of d management of the Polytechnic and further admonished them to operate with uttermost understanding and shun acts that can bring disrepute to the Polytechnic

In an interview, the new chairman of the Ekiti State Polytechnic branch, Mr Abayomi Fabunmi appreciated God for giving him the opportunity to attain the exalted position.

He also appreciated members and leadership of SSANIP for their solidarity with a promise to serve with utmost sincerity and diligence.

He noted that his administration would work closely with the management of the institution towards ensuring rapid growth and development.
