CASSON Oyo State Chapter Honors Dr. Akinteye At The Closing Session Of 2024 Annual Conference And Award Ceremony

The Counseling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), Oyo State Chapter, has honored the Acting Rector of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Dr. Gbade Akinteye ,who doubles as the host of the 2024 Annual Conference of the organization with a prestigious award for his massive contributions to the progress of the association over the years.
The honorary award was presented to him during the closing session of the 3-day Annual Conference and Award Ceremony themed “Solution- Focused Counseling” at the Assembly Hall of the institution.
The 2024 annual conference, which started on the 5th March, 2024 and ended on the 7th March, 2024, was graced by dignitaries from different tertiary institutions in Oyo State. In attendance were Dr Nercy Aderem, Director of NCE Program, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education Oyo; Prof. S.A. Olakojo from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife; Prof. Akinola Akinlabi, Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora; Hon. Johnson Oladele former Chairman, Ibarapa East Local Government, Eruwa; Mr. Adegboyega Johnson, Acting Provost, Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate; Comrade Adenike Gbadamosi, Principal, Okolo Community Grammar School, Okolo, Eruwa, and other prominent members of the association.
It was gathered that the purpose of the conference is to examine the activities of the association and to compliment efforts of the members of the association towards the development of the association and as well to promote the significant of counseling scheme in tertiary institutions.
During the presentation, committed members of the association were given awards in recognition and appreciation of their unwavering support to the progress of the association.
