Breaking: ATAPOLY Suspends Summer Semester Programme

The school Authority of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAPOLY), Bauchi has suspended the Summer semester and short programme till further notice.
The school authority said the reasons for suspending the summer semester is due to the inconsistency and complexities experienced in running the programme.
Summer semester is a short semester for students who had carryover or deficiency in their academics. The programme is usually done at the end of every academic session to enable students to resit for the exams in which they had deficiencies.

According to the memo obtained by POLYTV from the Director of Academic planning:
“This is to inform you that the Academic Board had at its 144th regular meeting held on Monday 4th July, 2022 approved the suspension of summer/short semester programme with effect from 2020/2021 academic session. The suspension was due to some inconsistencies and the complexities experienced in the running of the programme..
“In the light of the above, I am directed to inform you to ensure compliance with this decision as most appropriate, please.”
