ASUP NATIONAL BODY PAYS SYMPATHY VISIT TO IMAP RECTOR
The Rector Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia Dr. Justina Anjiode Kotso received in audience, the National Officials of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), led by the National President Comrade Ezeibe Anderson. The visit was to sympathize with the Rector, her Management team and the Governing Council over the unfortunate Students protest of Thursday 11th March, 2021 and to commend the Rector for her pragmatic leadership style in transforming the Polytechnic and for the support and cooperation to the Members of the Union.
Responding, the Rector, Dr. Justina Kotso appreciated them for the visit hoping that the cordial working relationship with the Unions will be sustained to move the Institution forward. “I am happy with your solidarity visit, the Visitor to the Polytechnic His Excellency Engr, Abdullahi A. Sule Governor Nasarawa State is a youth friendly Governor and is doing everything within his reach to ensure that the Students are back on campus”. She said.
In his vote of thanks,the National Ex – Officio, Comrade Usman Y. Dutse thanked the Management for the audience and promised to support and cooperate with the Management to move the Polytechnic to greater height.
