Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Begins HND Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has announced the commencement of admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for the available two-year full-time programmes across various schools within the institution.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course with at least a Lower Credit grade from a recognized NBTE-accredited institution.

Pass Grade Consideration

Candidates with a Pass grade may also apply if they have at least two years of post-ND industrial experience.

Industrial Training Completion

All applicants must have completed the one-year mandatory Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).

Method of Application

Step 1: Generate Invoice

Visit the school’s official website at https://www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng. Click on “Online Application”, input your name and phone number, and generate an invoice.

Step 2: Payment

Proceed to any commercial bank with your RRR number to make a non-refundable payment of ₦10,000.00. This covers the application fee, bank, and service charges.

Step 3: Complete the Online Form

Return to the application portal, select “Admissions” > “Application Forms”, choose your preferred programme, and enter the PIN (Confirmation Order) to access and complete your application.
