The Acting Rector of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Dr. Gbade Akinteye, has charged students of the institution to maintain the good image of the institution as they commence first semester examination on June 13, 2023.
Akinteye made the statement yesterday in his office while speaking on the preparation and readiness of the management and staff of the institution towards conducting free, fair, and credible examination.
The statement reads in part:
“I am honored to inform the generality of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa students that the approved date for first semester examination by the academic board of this institution after vigorous deliberation and consideration is still valid, which is June 13, 2023.”
“As management, we have put necessary mechanisms in place to make this semester examination more conducive and convenient for our students, and it is our utmost belief that students will cooperate with the laid down rules and regulations of this institution. We don’t tolerate any act of indiscipline and examination malpractice from students as any student found guilty will be seriously dealt with.”
“Despite the fact that there are a series of developmental programs in our campus in this semester, we didn’t allow any of them to affect the academic calendar of the school. I urge students to present necessary requirements as a prerequisite for the examination to the examination board of the institution before the commencement of the examination at the stipulated date.”
“On behalf of the management, I appreciate the Governing Council, academic board members, teaching and non-teaching staff of this institution for promoting the good name and standard of the school in all ramifications.”
On a final note, Dr Akinteye wished all students hitch-free examination.
