ADEBAYO RECEIVES GOVERNOR OYEBANJI’S AIDE, DESCRIBES EKITI HELMSMAN’S INTERVENTIONS AS UNPRECEDENTED

The Provost, Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology Ijero-Ekiti, Dr. (Mrs.) Olajumoke Adebayo has expressed gratitude to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his benevolence to the institution, since his assumption of office.
Adebayo bore her mind while receiving the Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Students’ Matters, Miss Modupe Mary Adetiba in her office.
The Provost who noted that no one had ever given attention to matters touching on the development of COHESTI the way Governor Oyebanji has done, told the SSA Students’ Matters that the Visitor to the College, had before the recent increment in subvention facilitated the accreditation of some NBTE programmes in the College, amongst other notable interventions.
While appreciating Governor Biodun Oyebanji for kick-starting the transmutation process of the College to Polytechnic, Dr. Adebayo prayed that God will continue to preserve the Ekiti Helmsman and grant him wisdom to steer the ship of the State to a safe haven.
Flanked by the Deputy Provost; Mr. Kayode Abolarin, the College Registrar; Mrs. Caroline Ogunsakin, the Bursar; Dr. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Alonge and the College Librarian; Mr. Folorunso Olayinka, the Provost hinted that the current Management believes in sustaining peaceful coexistence through prioritizing the welfare of Staff and Students.
Dr. Adebayo further highlighted some of the achievements of the current COHESTI Management as well as notable contributions of well spirited individuals towards infrastructural development in the College.
Earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Students’ Matters, Mrs. Modupe Mary Adetiba had hinged her tour of Tertiary Institutions in Ekiti State on the desire to physically assess peculiar needs of each Institution, for onward presentation to Governor Oyebanji.
While describing the COHESTI Provost as a role model, Adetiba hailed her penchant for excellence and efficient service delivery.

She further sought collaboration with the College Management to boost fortune of Students in the Health Institution, with a promise to table the peculiar needs of the Institution to Governor Oyebanji, whom she described as a Kind-hearted and responsive Leader.
Adetiba was accompanied by; a Representative of the Ministry of information – Mr. Abiodun Bamisile, Rep. Ministry of Youth – Mrs. Monica Adebayo, FESSU President – Com. Benjamin Onileowo, and the Vice Chairman NANS – Comrade Michael Ayeni.
