Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda (FEDPONAM) Approved Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Academic Session

This is to inform all students of the Federal polytechnic Kaura Namoda, Zamfara state (FEDPONAM) and the general public that the school management has announced the resumption of academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session.

According to the approved academic calendar, academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session will commence on Wednesday 4th October 2023.

The school management has directed that the portal for admission registration forms be opened from 12th June 2023.

NDI SIWES students are to proceed on SWIES for the 2022/2023 academic session – Monday 24th July 2023 to 23rd October 2023.

Wednesday 27th October 2023 – regular academic board meeting.

Lecture for newly admitted students and returning students – 4th October 2023 to 23rd February 2024.

2023/2024 matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted ND and HND students has been fixed to hold on Wednesday 7th February 2024.

First semester examination for 2023/2024 academic session will commence on Monday 26th February 2024 to Saturday 9th March 2024.

Second semester 2023/2024 academic session will commence on Monday 15th April 2024 to 29th July 2024.

Sale of admission forms for 2024/2025 academic session has been fixed to commence on Monday 15th April 2024.

Second semester 2023/2024 examination will commence on Monday 5th August 2024 to Saturday 17th August 2024.

Second semester break for the year 2023/2024 – Sunday 18th August to Sunday 22nd September 2024.

8	16^th December 2023	Closure of portal for sale of admission form for 2023/2024 academic session
9	20^th December 2023	End of year 2023 academic board meeting
10	31^st January 2024	Regular academic board metering

11	7^th February 2024	Matriculation ceremony
12	21^st February 2024	School board meeting to consider first semester course work and attendance for the 2023/2024 academic session
13	26^th February 2024 – 9^th March 2024	Examination period for the first semester 2023/2024 academic session
14	10 March 2024 – 14^th April 2024	First semester break for the 2023/2024 academic session
15	28^th February 2024	Regular academic board meeting
16	15^th April 2024 – 29^th July 2024	Lecture period for the second semester 2023/2024 academic session
17	3^rd April 2024	Special academic board meeting /consideration of first semester 2023/2024 examination results
18	27^th March 2024	Regular academic board meeting
19	15^th April 2024	Opening of portal and sales of admission for 2024/2025 academic session
20	24^th April 2024	Regular academic board meeting

26	18^th august – 22^nd December 2024	Second semester break for the 2023/2024 academic session
27	26^th august – 22^nd September 2024	NDI SIWES students to proceed on SIWES for the 2023/2024 academic session.
28	28^th august 2024	Regular academic board meeting
29	18^th September 2024	Special academic board meeting /consideration of second semester 2023/2024 examination results
30	25th September 2024	Regular academic board meeting
31	30^th September 2024	Commencement of 2024/2025 academic session
