Rotary Club Agbara Joins Forces With OGITECH for a GREENER Future

The Rotary Club Agbara, known for its dedication to service and environmental sustainability has teamed up with Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH) to plant the seeds of a greener and more conducive learning environment.
With an air of excitement, the former president of the Rotary Club Agbara took the podium at OGITECH Igbesa to deliver an inspiring address.
Rotary, a renowned global organization comprising diverse professionals, is synonymous with giving and service. Their mission revolves around creating positive change and fostering hope around the world.
Amidst a rich history dating back to 1985, the Rotary Club Agbara has consistently been at the forefront of community-driven initiatives. As its core, Rotary Club Agbara’s commitment extends far beyond tree planting. Their global reach is felt through projects that provide clean water, construction of essential infrastructure, and contribution to humanitarian efforts.
For those aspiring to join Rotary Club, a willingness to embrace the “Four Ts” is paramount:

Speaking at the event, the Ag. Rector Mr. Adegbite Ganiu Adewale who was ably represented by Mrs. Sakirat Olajumoke Johnson, MCIA the Ag. Registrar of the Institute, during the tree plantation, said this initiative will aim to create an environment that will not only enhances the aesthetics but also promotes a healthier and more conducive atmosphere for learning.
In her words, Mrs. Sakirat enjoins other organizations and industries within Igbesa Agbara to see the initiative of the Rotary Club of Agbara as an eye opener in chosen OGITECH the only state owned Higher Institution in Ogun West Senatorial District to be part of their Corporate Social Responsibility by erecting structures like laboratories, lecture halls, public toilet, scholarship to students and other teaching aids that could enhance learning within the Institute.
She also expresses her gratitude to the Rotary Club of Agbara on behalf of the Governing Council and the Management of OGITECH as they have deemed it fit to choose the Institute as part of their programme plan for the year.
