Osun State Polytechnic Shifts 1st Semester Exams to May 5th — Students Get Extra Week to Pay Fees

The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has officially announced a shift in the commencement date for the 2024/2025 first semester examination for full-time students. Originally slated to begin on Monday, April 28, 2025, the exams will now start on Monday, May 5, 2025.
This change was confirmed in an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar on April 22, 2025. According to the Registrar, Mr. Abiodun O. Oloyede, the postponement aims to give students who are yet to complete payment of their school fees and register for courses an opportunity to do so before the exams begin.
“The rationale behind the shift is to enable any student who has not paid his/her school fees and register for courses to do so before the commencement of the examination,” the memo stated.
The institution also issued a strong reminder to students that any failure to meet the deadline for payment and registration by Friday, May 2, 2025, will attract a penalty fee for late registration.
Students are urged to take advantage of the extension to finalize all formalities and avoid missing out on the examination. The Registrar also requested that this directive be given the necessary publicity to ensure widespread awareness among students.
