Havilla University, Nde-Ikom (HUNI) in Ikom Local Government Area is the first university, either private or state-owned, in the entire central and northern senatorial districts of Cross River State, Nigeria. Havila University was founded by Hon. Evang. Jones Ayuk Ojong Tangban, who is the Chancellor, and his wife, Mrs Blessing Tangban, as the Chairperson of the SteadyFlow Group of Schools. Havilla University was licensed on 8 April, 2021, by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The unveiling of the University to the world took place on 06 November, 2021.

Havilla University popularly known as HUNI is sited on a 228 hectares of land at Km 15 Ikom-Ogoja Road in Nde, Ikom. HUNI is located 215 km from Calabar and 84 km from Ogoja, all in Cross River State; 100 km from Abakiliki in Ebonyi State; 160 km from Enugu, Enugu State; 200 km from Makurdi and 120 km from Gboko, all in Benue State; as well as 28 km from the Republic of Cameroon.
