IMAP BEGINS SALES OF AFFORDABLE RICE TO STAFF, STUDENTS, OTHERS

With the galloping food inflation in the global market, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia has commenced the sales and mass production of IMAP Consult Parboiled Rice.
The IMAP Consult Parboiled Rice, a high-quality, affordable and stone-free rice, is geared towards cutting cost of living and improving the welfare of its staff, students and the citizenry.
Flagging off the sales of the rice, Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Nurudeen Mu’azu Maifata explained that the gesture is also centered towards growing entrepreneurship, enhancing local production and consumption in the country.
Dr. Maifata said the institution gives topmost priority to productivity and creativity in solving social issues.
He emphasized the institution’s untiring willingness to support remarkable ideas, dreams and visions of the Polytechnic community to come true, noting that the rice, for staff, would be paid in installment to ease the wobbling economic situation in the country.
He called on members of the public to also purchase the rice, assuring them of a better quality.
Also speaking, Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Dr. Ilah Obadiah said the Rector’s productivity and foresight in catering for the needs of the staff and students are incredible, enjoining members of the Polytechnic community to make good use of the opportunity provided.
He thanked the Rector for coming up with the idea among several others in mitigating the effects of the present economic situation.
The IMAP Consult Parboiled Rice can be purchased in 10kg, 25kg and 50kg from the IMAP Consult.
