Flagging off the sales of the rice, Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Nurudeen Mu’azu Maifata explained that the gesture is also centered towards growing entrepreneurship, enhancing local production and consumption in the country.
Dr. Maifata said the institution gives topmost priority to productivity and creativity in solving social issues.
He emphasized the institution’s untiring willingness to support remarkable ideas, dreams and visions of the Polytechnic community to come true, noting that the rice, for staff, would be paid in installment to ease the wobbling economic situation in the country.
