FG Appoints Aragbiji as FUNAAB’s Pro-Chancellor

The Federal Government of Nigeria has appointed HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, as the new Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Aragbiji, who holds a Degree in History (Education) from Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo (now Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo), began his professional journey in 1989 with the Local Government Service Commission of Oyo State.
Over the years, he advanced to the position of Director of Personnel Management. He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
In 2008, he was enthroned as the 15th Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Osun State.
Alongside the Pro-Chancellor, other distinguished members appointed to the Governing Council include Atsenda Ishwa, Charity Umbwe Shekari, Rt. Hon. Ayo Agbonmuserin, and Dr. Adeniyi Afolabi Balogun.
