Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti 2024/2025 ND Part-time, HND Full-time and HND Part-time (Evening) Admission Form
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti for National Diploma Evening and Part-Time (Six Semesters) Programmes in the 2024/2025 Academic Session leading to the award of National Diploma.
(A) GENERAL INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
(i) All Applicants who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti and scored 140 and above in the 2024/2025 UTME but did not meet the required aggregate score for the course of choice can apply.
In addition to the above, Applicants must possess five [5] O’level in relevant subject requirements at Credit level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two [2] sittings, in SSCE, NECO, GCE and/or NABTEB.
(ii) Applicants applying with NABTEB [NTC] for courses in the School of Engineering [SOE] and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT) must, in addition to the five [5] O’level subjects in [i] above, possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area [TRA], and not Bookkeeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretariat Studies etc. While Applicants applying for Business related courses can use NABTEB [NBC]. For avoidance of doubt, NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) are not accepted in the School of Engineering.
(iii) Applicants with NABTEB Technical Certificate (NTC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) can also apply for courses inSchool of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology and School of Science and Computer Studies.
(iv) Applicants should carefully consider the O’level subject requirements of the Departments they wish to apply for. Information on the O’level subject requirements can also be found on 2024/2025 Admission Application Page.
(v) Applicants who scored140 and above in the 2024/2025 UTME and did not choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as choice Institution can also apply for the Evening and Part-Time Programmes.
(vi) It should be noted that online O’Level results/NABTEB printout exceeding 12 months will not be acceptable for clearance of admitted Candidates.
(B) METHOD OF APPLICATION
The application should be processed in two (2) stages viz:
STAGE 1: Jamb Caps Platform
Visit JAMB Office or any JAMB CBT Accredited Centre nearest to you for registration with the underlisted details
- Valid E-mail address
- Valid Phone Number and
iii. Pay the JAMB prescribed application and processing fee. This will enable you to obtain JAMB registration number and admission letter
STAGE 2: Polytechnic Portals
- Applicants should visit the Polytechnic website students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on application to generate and print application payment invoice.
- After clicking on application, click on generate invoice, next click the drop-down menu under PROGRAMME and select ND PART-TIME/EVENING; next, click on the drop-down menu underCOURSE to select your desired course of choice; afterwards, enter required personal details; then, click generate invoice.
(iii) Upon printing of invoice, applicants can proceed to any bank of their choice alongside the invoice generated and make payment of N11,500 on the Remita Platform.
(iv) Applicants can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. (Note: before payment with debit card, print your Invoice)
(v) After payment, applicants should revisit the School Portal and fill their application forms using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the applicant’s name.
(vi) Applicants are advised to carefully read through their forms before submission.
(vii) Applicants should endeavour to print their acknowledgement slip and application form.

ADMISSION TO HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (MORNING, EVENING AND PART-TIME) PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission to Higher National Diploma Morning Programme as well as Evening and Part-Time (Six Semesters) Programmes for the 2024/2025 Academic Session leading to the award of Higher National Diploma in the underlisted programmes.

2.0 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Applicants should possess:
(i) National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in the Course/Programme of choice and five (5) Credit in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at the SSCE/NECO/GCE or relevant NABTEB O’Level Examinations in not more than two (2) sittings.
(ii)Any applicant with NABTEB (NTC) for Courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT), must in addition to the five (5) O’level subjects above possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA), and not Book Keeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretariat Studies etc. While applicants applying for Business related Courses can use NABTEB (NBC). (iii) Applicants with NABTEB Technical Certificate (NTC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) can also apply for courses in the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, and School Science and Computer Studies.
(iv) Applicants are to possess their ND Result and IT Letter for uploading before applying
(v) Applicants are advised to visit the Polytechnic Website https://fedpolyado.edu.ng to avail themselves of the requisite entry requirements for the National Diploma (ND) of each programme that make them prima-facie qualified for the HND programmes.
2.2 A minimum of one (1) year or 12 Months post ND cognate work experience (Industrial Training) in addition to 2.1.
However, applicants with PASS grade at the National Diploma (ND) must have minimum of two (2) years or 24 Months post ND cognate work experience.
3.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants seeking for admission to The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti are required to complete the Institution’s application form available on-line from Monday, 19th August, 2024.
4.0 ADMISSION FORM GUIDELINES
Application Form
(i) Applicants should visit the Polytechnic Website https://students.fedpolyado.edu.ng to generate and print application payment invoice.
(ii) Upon printing of invoice applicants can proceed to any bank of their choice alongside with the invoice generated and make payment of N15,500 only (Administrative charges inclusive) on the remita platform.
(iii) Applicants can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page.
(iv) After payment, applicants should revisit the School Portal and fill their application form using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the Candidates’ name.
(v) Applicants should endeavor to upload their ND Result and IT Letter
(vi) Applicants should endeavour to print their acknowledgement slip after filling the application form.
NOTE:
- All HND Morning , Evening and Part-Time applicants will be required to sit for an aptitude test. This will be in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is meant to test the basics of National Diploma Syllabi. The CBT would include Test of English, General Paper, and areas of ND Specialization.
- Applicants should also ensure that the transcripts of their Academic Records are forwarded directly by their former Institutions to reach;
