FCE Zaria Finally Completes Administrative Block

The Dr. Suleiman Balarabe-led administration of Federal College of Education, Zaria has on Friday, 21st October, 2022 officially received a completed lift at the Administrative Block, from yahaya Usman garu of YALBEE Global concept Ltd.
The idea of Administrative Block lift was brought since 2004 and at some point in time was dropped, according to the Director of Works, Q.S Hassan Buba, but got revived and work started early this year, 2022, by Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, a few months after his ascension into office.
In his speech while receiving the monument, the Provost, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, thanked the Chairman of the College Governing Council, H. E Engr Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo for his encouragement and support to the realization of the very important project. He also thanked his management team, the contractor and all other individuals for their support. The Provost also solicits the prayers from everyone to continue uplifting the College to greater heights.

While commenting on the project, the Deputy Provost, Mal. Haliru Musa appreciated and congratulated the Provost for the successful installation of the lift. According to him, the installation was a commendable one, and added that, the project was commended by a team of officials from NCCE during an accreditation visit to the College. The College is one of the few Colleges of Education in Nigeria to have this facility.
Adding on how the project was funded, the Bursar of the College, Dr. Uwaisu Muhd Sani explained that the project, from scratch to completion was fully funded by the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the College. This depicts how judiciously this administration is utilizing funds it is generating.
