The Special Adviser to the Governor of Ekiti State on Tertiary Education, Prof. Hakeem Azeez has commended Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, for its innovative approach to curbing examination malpractice.
Prof. Azeez who gave the commendation while touring facilities in the College, expressed delight at the Institution Management’s effective utilization of available resources, urging other tertiary institutions to emulate the Ijero College’s recent deployment of CCTV cameras to monitor the conduct of examinations.
The Special Adviser who applauded the leadership of the Governing Council Chairman, Dr. Femi Thomas, averred that the College’s progress in recent months is a testament to the passion of Governor Oyebanji for educational development.

Responding, the College Principal Officers expressed gratitude to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the College since he assumed office.
They further applauded the State Governor for appointing Dr. Femi Thomas as the Institution’s Governing Council Chairman, describing the latter as a round peg in a round hole, and a great gift to the institution.
The Principal Officers comprising the Acting Provost – Mrs. Iyabo Oladapo, the Registrar – Mrs. Caroline Ogunsakin, and the Bursar – Dr. Funmilayo Alonge appreciated Prof. Azeez for his visit and extended their gratitude to the Governor, expressing hope that the College’ internal road network would get the needed attention soon.
