ASUU STRIKE: We Expect Lecturers to Resume Class by Now – KADSU Vice Chancellor
The Vice chancellor of kaduna state university, has said that the school has resumed and lecturers are expected to attend to lectures by now.
The VC stated this, when
the Kaduna State University Student’s Union paid a courtesy visit to the acting Vice-chancellor Prof. Yohanna Tela and that of the Chairman Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in person of Dr. Peter Adamu in relation to the school resumption.
The school management re-emphasized that school is open and all lecturers are expected to attend lectures, however the management encourage the Students Union and the entire students of the institution to have faith and confidence to resume.
In addition, the Vice-chancellor confirmed to the Students Union that the school’s academic calendar will be out on or before Friday 27th May, 2022 while lectures time table remain the same.
In contrary to what the management said after the congress of the ASUU held today, the chairman confirmed to the Students Union that, the Academic Staff Union of Universities is still on strike. In respect to this, the chairman vividly explained and assured the Students Union that, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The Students Union visited hostels admins to affirm the re-opening of the hostels, while the hostels admins confirmed that all the hostels are still closed until they receive official statement or letter from the school management.
