Shun Cultism, Examination Malpractices, Other Social Vices- Lens Polytechnic Warns Fresh Students

In a bid to enhance academic development, the management of Lens Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State has charged the newly admitted students to abstain cultism, examination malpractices, indecent dressing, and other secluded activities.
The Proprietor of the institution, Mr. Yisau Azeez made this known on the 10th of February, 2023 in his speech during the orientation ceremony held at the permanent site of the institution.
According to him, Lens Polytechnic is an institution capable of helping its Students with “spectacular glasses to see far beyond”, adding that the Institution is enthroned with active and agile lecturers.
The Proprietor who described Offa as a peaceful city assured Students of maximum security. He however enjoined the newly admitted Students to imbibe the spirit of oneness, and discipline and report any insecurity issues and challenges to the office of the Directorate of Students’ Affairs (DSA) of the institution.
Also speaking, the Polytechnic Rector, Dr. Ademola Ebeloku disclosed that “Lens Polytechnic Offa is one the most fastest institutions in running academic programs”.
The Rector who has served in different capacities was once the deputy Dean of Examination, H.O.D. Business administration & Dean, School of Business and Management Studies, The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State.
In the same vein, the Polytechnic Registrar, Mr. Hammed Olalekan while educating the Students on registration processes stressed that “all admitted Students must be duly registered for them to become a bonafide Student of Lens Polytechnic”.
Speaking further, he said the new intakes are lucky for coming into the Lens Polytechnic with the fact that, the institution is the first private Polytechnic with the highest accredited courses in Nigeria.
More so, the Chief Examination Officer, Mr. Mubarak Adetunji enlightened the Students on the Do’s and Don’ts of Examinations. He said the Lens Polytechnic doesn’t entertain impersonation, lawlessness, and extraneous materials in the Examination hall, adding that any Student who violates the rules will be dealt with in line with the rules and regulations of the Examination.


While the Chief Compliance Officer, Mrs. Adekeye Medinat attested that all Lecturers are ready to discharge the expected responsibilities, she noted that all course materials will be made available to students without paying a dime.
