OGUN COMMISSIONERS FOR EDUCATION, WORKS VISIT MAPOLY, PROMISE TOTAL REJUVENATION OF EDUCATION SYSTEM
It was awesome to receive the presence of the Ogun State Honorable Commissioner-Designate for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu; Commissioner for Works and infrastructure, Hon. Akin Akinsanya in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta on familiarisation visit.
Prof. Arigbabu disclosed that the visitation was in tandem with the outcome of educational stakeholders’ meeting held with the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR recently to enhance innovations that can assist institutions in revenue generation and self reliance.
The Commissioners were in company of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure , Engr. Yusuf; General Manager, Public Works and Infrastructure Agency, Arc. Gbenga Akintola and Special Adviser to the State Governor on Works & Infrastructure, Engr. Babatunde Adesina in a bid to facilitate swift rehabilitation of the road network within and outside the Polytechnic.
The visitors took time to have a brief tour around the serene premises and lauded the Management on some of the ongoing projects despite the challenges.
In his response, the Ag. Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, heartily appreciated the State Governor for the choice of Prof. Arigbabu in the Education Ministry, while he pledged the co-operation of the Institution for the progress and development of education in Ogun State.
Odedeji stated that the visit would reflect positive impacts in the Polytechnic.
The Registrar, Bursar, some Directors of Schools, Heads of Departments amongst other were present to receive the visitors.
