DR GBEGI DONATES BOOKS TO FIDEI POLYTECHNIC.

As part of his community development service, Dr. Daniel O. Gbegi, an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance, Department of Accounting and Business Administration, Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State, today donated thirty one (31) books to improve the Accounting Section of Fidei Polytechnic Library.
While presenting the different books of Accounting, Dr. Gbegi who is a lover of human development emphasized that the books donated will improve the research knowledge of both Lecturers and Students of the institution in the field of Accounting.
Dr. Gbegi who is a Fellow, Institute of Forensic and Investigative Auditors (Canada), promised to draw the presence of the Institute to Fidei Polytechnic Gboko.
Responding, the Director of Consultancy unit and Head of Department, Accountancy, Chief Patrick Awuhe Orbanga appreciated Dr. Gbegi for his encouragement and support to the institution and the department of Accountancy in particular, he further prayed for God’s blessing upon him and his family.
Also speaking, the Polytechnic Chief Librarian, Mr. Isaac Akombu applauded the kind gesture of the Academician towards human development and promised to make judicious use of the materials.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Registrar of the Polytechnic, Mr. Gabriel Bem Abari expressed his appreciation to the Associate Professor and further stated that the Polytechnic can not forget the name of Dr Daniel Gbegi in a hurry. “Your name can never be forgotten as far as this school is concerned” he said.
Earlier, the Co-owner of the Polytechnic, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Dorothy Mato received the books with so much appreciation and encouraged others to emulate Dr. Gbegi’s steps, she ended up by praying for God’s protection over him.
In his remarks, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Mr. Christopher Aper Igbadio on behalf of the management assured Dr. Gbegi that the institution will continue to partner with him in developing the school and the entire educational sector in the country.
