NBTE Applauds Lens Polytechnic Offa, Says Institution Has Done What Most Government-Owned Polytechnics Cannot Do

The National Board for Technical Education, NBTE has applauded the Management of Lens Polytechnic Offa for upholding the mandate guiding the establishment of Polytechnics in Nigeria.
This was revealed by the NBTE North Central Zonal Director, Dr. O.O Bello who represented the Director of polytechnic programmes (Arc. Ngbede Ogoh) during the exit briefing of the resource inspection of 8 new programs in the Polytechnic.
Impressed with the facilities and equipment at the institution during the exercise, Dr. Bello said the Polytechnic has done what most government-owned Polytechnics can not do. He therefore described Lens Polytechnic as a role model to all private Polytechnics in Nigeria.
According to him, “Lens Polytechnic is a role model to all private polytechnics in Nigeria. This school (Lens polytechnic) has done what most government-owned polytechnics cannot do.”
In his reaction, the Proprietor, Dr. Azeez Yisa appreciated the Zonal Director for the commendation and remarkable evaluation of the Polytechnic. He described the comments of the NBTE as a driving force to continue with the standard the Polytechnic is known for.
While appreciating the resource inspection team, he assured the regulatory agency of the institution’s commitment and dedication towards enhancing the Polytechnic mandate as stipulated by the NBTE.
