NANS Visits Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Appreciates Management for being Supportive

The newly elected Secretary General, NANS JCC, Aks axis, Comr. Ekikere Effiong On Monday 25th July led a delegation to pay a ‘Thank You’ visit to Dean, Students Affairs, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Mr Emmanuel Umoh, in his office.

According to Comr. Ekikere Effiong, the visit was in accordance to familiarize with the students friendly Dean, and thank him for his enormous effort, support and weight thrown on them throughout the NANS JCC, Aks electioneering period. He maintained that such gesture cannot be overlooked without being appreciated.

He however used the opportunity to solicit for continued and undiluted support for the students community to enable a save landing and pray God to strengthen him to do more for the benefit and growth of the prestigious institution.

Also speaking, the President, Students Union, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Comr. Offiong Koffi eulogised Mr Umoh for always being a listening and responsive father and continuously supporting the students drastic moves, while assuring him of effective representation from all the students structures in the institution.

Responding, the five star Dean of Students Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Umoh charged the students leadership to be good ambassadors to themselves, institution, NANS and Nigeria at large, while admonishing them to take cognizance of the mandate and pave ways for greater and successful future.

He further maintained, that the legacy they build today as students is what will speak for them in future as they excel.

He appreciated them for exhibiting all level of maturity, work in one accord and ensure they came out victorious at the polls.

Amongst the delegations were NANS JCC Director of Gender, Aks’ Axis, Comr. Uwakmfon Sammy, President, Itu Students Worldwide, Comr. Esara Oto-obong amongst others.
