Management Begins Investigation as Fire Guts School Laboratory

At about 9:30am on Saturday4th June, 2022, a fire outbreak gutted a computer laboratory in Computer Department, Federal College of Education, Zaria.
The unfortunate fire was quenched with the assistance and swift response of the college’s fire service and aid of other fire engines from, ABU Zaria (Kongo), Zaria and Kofar Doka and also from individuals who strived before the arrival of the fire engines and red cross.
POLYTV gathered that the fire consumed the whole laboratory, including the computers and all facilities in it, and has also destroyed parts of the computer department building.

The school management while reacting to the tragic incident said Investigation are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the fire.
